Hello and welcome to GraceDrivenMom!

My name is Jovis and I am a millennial mom who is deeply committed to parenting according to God’s word and principles aligned with Montessori and positive discipline. I believe that raising children in a way that is rooted in faith and respect helps them to grow into happy, confident, and compassionate adults.

As a wife of a pastor, my family and I have the privilege of serving in a local community church in an urban poor community in the Philippines. We spend a lot of time teaching and counseling, particularly younger parents and young adults. It is a joy to be able to share God’s love and support with those who need it most, and I feel blessed to be able to make a positive impact in the lives of those around me.

In addition to my work at the church, I also have an online business that started from my interest in Montessori. I create printable materials and merchandise for Montessori teachers and families, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to combine my love of education with my entrepreneurial spirit. I am passionate about creating resources that help children learn and grow in a way that is fun, engaging, and effective.

Of course, like all of us, I have faced my share of challenges along the way. I have struggled with generational trauma, imposter syndrome, hyperactive thoughts, and dealing with mental illnesses in the family. But through it all, I have come to realize that I am only able to be where I am and do what I do because of God’s grace. I am constantly learning, growing, and through these experiences, I’m made stronger, more empathetic, and more resilient person.

I pray that we all grow towards becoming grace-driven moms. Through this blog, I hope to inspire and help you in your own journey as a busy mom, only by His grace.
